Training

Our education division offers crane operator, rigger, overhead hoist and forklift operator seminars. Courses are taught under API, RP2D Recommended Practices and OSHA 29CFR 19717.27 Regulations.

Our training programs guide employees through re-certifications and those new to the industry through the difficult process of becoming qualified in any one of a number of fields.

Operator Classifications

Class 1 Operator – No Restrictions or Limitations

Class 2 Operator - Limited to lifting medium loads (50% of cranes capacity at any radius).
Must be supervised when making lifts over 50% capacity, critical or hazardous.
Limited to loading or unloading boats in calm seas only.

Class 3 Operator – Must have direct supervision at all times.
Cannot lift personnel under any conditions.
Operator classification upgrades are issued after 40 successful lifts (60 day minimum) and properly logged. $50.00 for each additional operator certification upgrade.
